Welcome to the newest member of our family,Welcome to the official site of the Vermontville Maple Syrup Festival.Vermontville Maple Syrup Festival, the oldest maple syrup festival in Michigan, is "granddaddy". The festival takes place on the last weekend of April. It was the first maple syrup festival to be held in Michigan. In 1940, local syrup producers met in a barbershop to discuss how to market their product. Local syrup producers set up shop in the village selling syrup, candies and creme.
